Free Rice-Provide and Learn

FreeRice is a sister site of the world poverty site, Poverty.com.

How it Works:You'll be given a list of words and definitions, every time you choose the right definition for a single word, , you will be providing 10 grains of rice for a hungry person.

The Website Provides:
1. English vocabulary to everyone for free.
2. Help end world hunger by providing rice to hungry people for free.

This is made possible by the sponsors who advertise on this site.

So, not only will you be able to improve your vocabulary, you'll also gain the benefits of knowing you helped to feed a human being , making a real difference in their lives.

Just think, Somewhere in the world, a person is eating rice that you helped provide. You can bone up on your vocabulary and help end world hunger, Here

I enjoyed your post and now I have a new site to frequent. I did not know about the free rice site. I go everyday to the hunger site.

Hi Cybercelt: Thanks so much for your comment , i'm really glad you found the free rice site. It's such a great way to help others. And visiting the hunger site every day is really commendable and another nice way of helping the less fortunate.
